CONTEST RULES
This contest is open only to Canadian residents (excluding Quebec) and is governed by Canadian Law and the laws of the province of British Columbia.
No additional purchase is necessary to enter after session registration. See below for full contest details. Participation in this contest constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of, and agreement to be legally bound by, these contest rules (the ”rules”). Odds of winning the grand prize depends on number of session registrants.
SafetyDriven Speaker Series
SafetyDriven – Trucking Safety Council of BC will host the 2022 Speaker Series on October 26, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel in Surrey, BC. Registration begins September 1, 2022.
At the end of the event, a draw will be held for a grand prize as itemized below. Winners must be present at the event to claim their prize. No additional purchase is required after session registration.
GRAND PRIZE
Gift card:
- One gift card valued at $100 CAD, to be drawn at the end of the event on Day 1.
- Winner must be present to claim prize.
PRIZE DRAW PERIOD
The draw for the grand prize will take place from the list of Speaker Series registrants that are in attendance October 26, 2022 at 5:00 PM.
RULES
Grand Prize Draw
- Eligibility: Those who register between September 1, 2022, and midnight October 21, 2022, will be entered to win a prize. Attendees must be present at the event on October 26, 2022 to claim their prize.
- Prize: One (1) $100 Gift card.
- Winner:The winner will be announced shortly before 5:00 PM at the conclusion of Day 1 of the Speaker Series event on October 26, 2022.
PRIZE DISCLAIMER
SafetyDriven shall not be responsible or liable to entrants for any losses, damages, or costs incurred as a result of entering the contest or use of a prize won in this contest. By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless SafetyDriven (and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives of both parties, their parent company(ies), affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies), harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
DISPUTES
Entrants acknowledge and agree that any disputes arising out of the contest or these rules will be governed by the federal laws of Canada and the laws of the Province of British Columbia and must be submitted to the courts located in the City of Vancouver.
DATA PROTECTION
Entrants’ personal information is protected by SafetyDriven’s Privacy Policy, viewable at https://safetydriven.ca/privacy-policy/. The contest is subject to the provisions of the Personal Information Protection and Electronics Documents Act (PIPEDA). Notwithstanding the foregoing, entrants acknowledge that prizes may be fulfilled by third parties and consent to the disclosure of personal information to such third parties for the limited purpose of fulfilling prizes.
