Webinar Overview
Have you ever wondered what an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Program is? Or why it’s so important to have an OHS program in your company? Maybe you want to improve your current program, but you don’t know where to start.
Essentially, occupational health and safety is the health and safety of your workplace that helps prevent worker injury and illness. OHS is regulated provincially by WorkSafeBC or federally by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). It is not the same as the National Safety Code.
In this one-hour webinar from July 7, 2021, two of SafetyDriven’s OHS Advisors present an overview of an Occupational Health and Safety Program. They’ll describe how Safety Driven can help you improve your existing program or create one. Prabhjot Kaur and Darshan Gill share common questions and concerns from the transportation and moving and storage industries. And they’ll guide you to SafetyDriven’s free online resources to help you get started on your own Safety Program.
Occupational health and safety information is broken down into clear and simple components to help you understand how to go about establishing an Occupational Health and Safety Program and how it will help your company attain a Certificate of Recognition (COR certification). Darshan will break it all down for you—how a health and safety program can be set up for your needs, the time commitment you would need to make, and exactly what you can expect from Safety Driven.
Whether your operation involves general trucking, moving and storage, warehousing, dump truck operations, waste disposal, or any of the countless other types of work that get done with trucks, this webinar is an opportunity to learn and gain some useful professional tools. You’ll also find out about free online resources to help you get started on your own Safety Program.
