On September 1st, ICBC launched its fall Distracted Driving campaign to raise awareness and remind British Columbians about the importance of staying focused behind the wheel. Distracted driving remains one of the leading causes of fatal crashes in B.C., making it critical for drivers to put their phones away and keep their attention on the road.

Throughout September, police across the province will be ramping up enforcement, and community volunteers will be supporting the effort through Cell Watch deployments, reminding drivers to leave their phones alone.
