Expansion in 2012 made it obvious Kool Pak needed to formalize its safety program. Clear safety policies and a safety committee were established within the framework of an open and inclusive program. Drivers and staff are rewarded with a safe work environment and performance bonuses in the form of prizes and gift cards given out during Safety Days. Safety is serious and fun with a “really good staff who understand the value of safety. Everyone from the president down supports company safety.”
