Work sites can be busy and dangerous places. When there’s a lot going on, even brief lapses and small mistakes can have serious consequences. Regardless of their task, everyone at a work site – employers, supervisors, workers and visitors – has responsibilities to pay attention and take steps to prevent work site collisions.
Road Safety At Work in collaboration with the BC Construction Safety Alliance is presenting a webinar that will:
- Clarify the safety responsibilities of the people directing, operating or working around vehicles or mobile equipment at a work site
- Explain practical strategies, control measures (including situational awareness) and tips to prevent collisions at work sites
- Identify tools and resources you can use to keep employees safe at worksites with many people and moving parts.
