Take action to improve the safety of your employees who drive for work. Participate in this complimentary driving safety webinar offered by Road Safety at Work in partnership with ICBC.
Webinar Description
About 60 percent of all crashes reported to ICBC occur at intersections. That’s not surprising since intersections are where vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists cross paths and where drivers need to make quick and complex decisions. You may not be able to influence how others drive, but you can help reduce your risk of being in a crash.
In this webinar, employees and employers will learn:
- About the main causes of crashes at intersections and how to avoid them
- Practical defensive driving tips to help you reduce the chances of being in a crash
- How to use ICBC’s crash maps as part of an effective journey management program
There is no charge for webinar but you must register online in advance to attend. Once registered, a link to the session will be provided to you via email.
Can’t attend? Register anyway, we’ll send you a link to the recording following the live event.
Who Should Attend
This webinar is for anyone who drives during their work day or manages staff who do. It will be especially appealing to owners, managers, supervisors, health and safety practitioners, Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee members and others who have responsibility for making decisions and developing programs to keep employees safe on BC roads.
