The Regional Dialogue Series will create space for labour, federally regulated employers, and domestic violence experts to discuss and learn about innovative approaches to addressing domestic violence in the workplace. It is an opportunity to share information about working collaboratively across sectors, geographies and types of organizations to support those affected and to mitigate impacts on workplaces.
Each Regional Dialogue will focus on the following objectives:
– Increase awareness of the resources (i.e., experts, tools and strategies) available in each region to support employers and unions in addressing domestic violence.
– Strengthen collaboration between community-based domestic violence services and federally regulated workplaces and identify strategies for continued relationship-building.
– Increase the ability of employers, unions and experts to support workers and who experience additional barriers in accessing supports.
