On-Demand Claims Management – E-Learning

This online course (90-120 minutes to complete) provides a brief overview of the Workers’ Compensation claims process. Topics include: Introduction to sections of the Act and policies relating to claim matters; Reporting of injury/illness to WorkSafeBC; Review of the various reporting methods to WorkSafeBC; Investigations requirements; Vocational rehabilitation; Permanent Disability Benefits (Pensions); Experience Rating (ER) and the various relief of cost provisions; How to identify and deal with claims issues.

Please note that the material in this course is presented from the employer’s perspective. The course includes activities and exercises that are intended to provide the user with some knowledge and skills to manage WorkSafeBC claims.
